Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her roles in Nashville, the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 where she played Claudia Shepard. Also, she portrayed the lead character Jerrica Jem Betnton, in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with the parents Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey performed at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her youth for 10 years. The valedictory speech she delivered was that for her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to accept her. But, she declined the opportunity twice. The second time it was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples played on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular role in Necessary Rustiness (1991). The actress was also seen in the film and television shows Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series, in which she appeared as Layla Grant. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder during an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the most popular actors aged under twenty years aged in September 2014.
